From early on Mark and Annie Montague suspected something was wrong with their boys. They seemed distant and destructive and they were lacking any kind of emotional response. Soon, they received an official diagnosis – Autism. The boys were so violently destructive they were told they should be institutionalized but Mark and Annie refused to give up on them.
And then they discovered a strange therapy. It involved locking them in a tiny room and instead of trying to get them to change, they attempted to enter their world. At first I thought it was borderline child abuse, but immediately the results were astonishing.
